Role Overview

The Velvet Note Lounge is seeking a talented acoustic musician or duo for a recurring weekend residency. We want to create a sophisticated, relaxed atmosphere for our dinner and cocktail guests. The ideal performer specializes in re-imagining popular hits, classic soul, jazz standards, or contemporary indie-pop into acoustic arrangements.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide 3 hours of live background music with two 15-minute breaks.
• Maintain an appropriate volume level suitable for dining and conversation.
• Engage professionally with guests and venue staff.
• Manage personal basic sound setup (mics, acoustic amp, cables).

Requirements

• Proven experience performing live in lounges, hotels, or restaurants.
• Diverse repertoire of at least 40+ songs across multiple genres.
• Reliability, punctuality, and professional stage presence.
• Ability to bring your own instruments and compact PA system.
